MagStar Project Management Information System (PMIS) is a project management tool for tracking project status and its progress within a company. This tool is perfectly designed for small and medium-sized enterprises to meet their project monitoring needs. With this tool, the stakeholders and other concerned parties are given essential information about certain projects to update them and allow them to start planning ahead of time or make necessary actions in case of project alerts.
MagStar provides a concise but comprehensive measure of each project's KPI using traffic light image indicators. The project manager is responsible for updating the project status. They can setup the right indicator to match the standing of their project on a certain criteria. MagStar uses user-defined criteria to cater different project types.
This tool is also a way for the project managers and their superiors to communicate regarding issues and project standing. Alerts or notifications may be sent to concerned parties via email or they can exchange information in a project forum on general or specific topics.
MagStar may be setup as a network-based or a web-based management system. It's a flexible tool for businesses in one area and those with distant locations. Relevant stakeholders are given authorized levels of access rights for viewing project information and rights for edits and approvals.
